Ferrycarrig Partner with FACCI Vending

Ferrycarrig participates in  First Australians Chamber of Commerce Vending Program.

Ferrycarrig has teamed up with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) to participate in the First Australians Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Vending program.

The FACCI Vending program is a collaboration between the NSWICC and Coca Cola Amatil that creates a passive income stream to help resource the capacity building programs delivered by State and Territory Indigenous Chambers of Commerce that support the establishment, growth and sustainability of Aboriginal owned businesses.

Hosting these machines enables capacity-building work with Aboriginal business owners and supports the creation of employment and contract opportunities in Aboriginal communities.

This initiative supports the work of FACCI and Indigenous Chambers of Commerce to fund capacity building programs, business and employment opportunities, and increased collaboration between NSWICC and Industry for economic participation.

Ferrycarrig’s General Manager, Ivan O’Connor said that the program aligns with Ferrycarrig’s increasing strategic focus on diversity, inclusion and industry participation by supporting aboriginal business participation and capacity building initiatives.

“At Ferrycarrig we are actively seeking to establish initiatives to increase diversity within the workforce and supply chain through collaborative partnerships with a key focus on Aboriginal participation.”

“The vending program contributes to supporting sustainable growth of Aboriginal businesses and supports employment opportunities for Aboriginal people which aligns with Ferrycarrig’s Aboriginal Participation strategy.”

“Every small step we can take to help boost the capabilities of Indigenous businesses is a worthwhile one.”
