Project Completed – Prospect to MacArthur Pipeline (PROMAC)
We’re excited to announce the successful completion of our project across four Sydney Water rechlorination plants at Cecil Hills, Narellan, Campbelltown, and Liverpool, as part of the Prospect to Macarthur pipeline development. The works were carried out at each location amidst live facility operations and involved several elements of scope across utilities, civil engineering, concrete structures, and complex commissioning works.
It encompassed a diverse civil scope including site preparation, bulk earthworks, construction of access roads, permanent road works, installation of various concrete structures, retaining walls, foundations, extensive landscaping, and security fencing.
On the utility and instrumentation front, multiple utility diversions were managed to facilitate the installation of new assets and complete civil works, spanning NBN, electrical, water, stormwater, and gas scopes. The scope also included the installation of RCP units, flowmeters, chlorine analyzers,
containment lines, and leak detection pits.
This package of work is part of the PROMAC project which will establish a new water network for Western Sydney and support 84,000 dwellings when completed for the future growth of this area of Sydney.
Ferrycarrig served as the principal contractor on this project, delivered in collaboration with Acciona and Sydney Water. We look forward to working on future projects that enhance community life in Western Sydney.
Cheers to cleaner water and a sustainable future!
