Vacuum Excavation & Potholing
Non Destructive Excavation is ideal for eliminating the risk of damage to existing underground utilities and services, and potential harm to the environment.
Utility asset strikes are a major concern for the Australian civil construction industry. Vac trucks improve the efficiency of service installation, prevent utility asset strikes, save millions of dollars in damaged infrastructure and provide a safer work site for the contractors using them.
Underground Service Locating & Surveying
The location of underground assets is vital for a project to ensure either the design, construction, or maintenance of a site can be carried out safely From a single point of contact, Ferrycarrig will plan and execute the Utility Detection, Survey, Vacuum Excavation, and CAD Modelling without being subject to either immediate or subsequent damage to utilities.
Using electromagnetic induction and ground penetrating radar, our experienced technicians will pinpoint and trace utilities. Comprehensive utility service locating and mapping can be then provided and our vacuum excavation trucks where necessary can provide additional exploratory potholing to ensure you our clients can get a complete picture of the subsurface landscape.
Our team offers the full reach of the survey portfolio. We can deliver Comprehensive Utility Deliverables in 12d/DWG CAD models, Field reports including Pothole/Trench, Pit cards.
